Daylight Savings Time Change
To Our Customers:
As you all know the government has decided to change when Daylight
Savings Time is to occur. We at JAVS are working hard for a solution
to this issue and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Below is a link to instructions on how to make this change, if you
feel comfortable enough to do so.
You must first determine the type of JAVS system that you have.
This can be accomplished by physically looking for a particular
device that came with your JAVS system or by
looking at the purchase order for your system. Once you determine
the type of system, simply click the name or image to get step-by-step
instructions.
For a
Precision system you should
have a tabletop device (see illustration) that is close in proximity
to the Digital Recorders provided with your system. The label on
the front of the device will be clearly marked as Precision.
For a CT-VI system
you should have a rack-mount device (see illustration) that is close
in proximity to the Digital Recorders provided with your system.
If an equipment rack or console was provided, the CT-VI will most
likely be located there. The label on the front of the device will
be clearly marked as JAVS CTVI.
For a CT-4A and CT-2 systems you should have a rack-mount device
(see illustrations) with a hinged drop down door. You should be
able to see multiple circuit boards mounted vertically through the
door. If an equipment rack or console was provided, the CT-4A and
CT-2 will most likely be located there. The label on the front of
the device will be clearly marked as JAVS CT-4A or JAVS CT-2.
For a Precision system inside the computer you should
have a Time/Date generator TDG1000 or TDG2000 mounted in the AutoLog
computer (see illustration). The label on the front of the device
will be clearly marked as TDG1000 or TDG2000.
For the JAVS Digital
Recorders, (PDR’s and SDR’s) you should have a MSI Hetis
915 or 945 computer that is possibly mounted in the equipment rack
or under the judges bench (see illustration).
If you do not feel comfortable with changing the
date and time for any of these systems, please feel free to call
the JAVS help desk at 1-800-JAVS-HLP.
