The Following are Step-by-Step Instructions for CT-4A & CT-2
- Turn on the Autolog Computer.
- Open up the Autolog Program.
- Go to the big black cabinet that probably sits in the courtroom.
- Open up the black door that has a lock on it. You should now
see a device with circuit cards and lights on them. This is the
CT4A (or CT2) which is labeled on the pull down door.
- On the top left and right are knobs to secure the door.
- Turn the left knob ¼ turn clockwise and the right knob ¼ turn
counterclockwise to release the door which will open towards you.
- Just right of center of the CT4A you will find a card that has
a green tab or a green label which says TDG 4000. This is the
Time Date Card.
- You will now need a very small flat head screwdriver. If one
is not available you can use a paperclip.
- Insert the screwdriver into the turn dial that looks like the
following:
- Turn the dial clockwise to position 6. On the Autolog screen,
you will see the words "Daylight Savings". Next to "Daylight Savings"
it will show either ON or OFF. Use steps 11 and 12 to turn off
Daylight Savings.
- Towards the bottom of the card you will find two white pegs
that look like the following:
- Push the top peg until you see Daylight Saving OFF on the Autolog
Video Screen.
- You should only have to push the peg once. Insert your screwdriver
back into the turn dial, and turn it clockwise until you reach
Zero.
- If you need to adjust the time on your CT4A you will need to
go back to the two white pegs.
- Push the top peg. The Autolog Video Screen will go black and
show the Time and Date at the bottom.
- Keep pushing the top peg until the Hour is flashing.
- Next push the bottom white peg until you have reached the desired
time. Check that the AM or PM indicator is correct.
- After you have adjusted the time, push the top white peg until
your video has been restored to the Autolog Video Screen.
- Close the door to the CT4A, and remember to turn the locks so
that the door will not fall open.
- Close and if needed lock the black door to the cabinet.
- Next close the Autolog program.
- Now download and install the Windows XP patch for Daylight Savings
from the JAVS Support website.
- !!!!WARNING!!!! You must have Windows XP Service Pack 2 for
the Patch to take effect.
