JAVS E4 delivers the technology behind absolute accuracy
Behind
the scenes, JAVS E4 seamlessly integrates the exclusive technologies
that make a JAVS court recording the most accurate and easiest-to-use
system on the market. Microphone Proximity Awareness™ automatically
turns on the correct microphone when more than one microphone is
picking up the same sound – even if they're close together.
If a speaker moves from one microphone to another, it automatically
adjusts. No more “tin-cup” sound common among non-intelligent
mixers.
Dynamic Adaptive Threshold™ detects when
a “noisy” audio source is located close to a microphone
and compensates accordingly. If there’s a noisy air-conditioning
vent or traffic noise, an ordinary system often will lock onto the
noise and stop switching.
Sharp Noise Rejection™ helps the system
to intelligently evaluate which sounds to follow. When doors bang
closed, books are thrown down on tables and people cough or sneeze,
ordinary video systems jump all over the courtroom to keep up with
irrelevant action.
Last Microphone On™ keeps the last active
microphone on, allowing the speaker to move a long distance away
from the microphone and still be heard clearly in the recording.
Microphone Identification System™ makes
the transcriber’s job easy and ensures an accurate record.
The system tracks when a microphone is active and can display the
speaker’s name on the video screen. Unlike standard 4-Track,
JAVS doesn’t limit you to four microphone inputs, which requires
transcribers to use a cumbersome back-and-forth method to determine
(and sometimes guess) who’s speaking. JAVS E4 technology allows
up to 20 microphone inputs, and each microphone “identifies”
the speaker upon play.
